Thumbs up Run lean, lose power above 5krpm

My car was tuned and ran good initially. Few hundred miles later, now everytime when I punch it (more than 50% throttle), when the rpm goes above 5krpm, the engine goes really loud, loses power and a quick glance at the afrs tells me it hits around 13+ .. I shit myself and eased off. Now only boost on light part throttle which is fine even above 5krpm... WTF is going on? Could it be the tune (I've not really touch it), the vtec solenoid or wat?

No boost cut but because I'm only boosting part throttle the boost is only going up to around 5-6psi as opposed to about 10-11psi if I go WOT.

so your saying the car is getting really loud, but not going anywhere? What kind of clutch do you have? Clutch slip doesnt really explain going lean...but who knows.

Hey Phil, hows it going? Yeah I'm pretty miffed at hows its running at the moment as I can't get hold of Mase to takle a look at the AEM map! I've sent him 2 emails in the last 3 weeks but no reply yet, do you know his whereabouts?

I uploaded the tweaked map as per Mase's instructions (tweaked by Mase as I had an issue with it stalling during idling) but this only started happening about 2 weeks ago? I've not touched the map since as I dont wanna screw things up. Its weird how this is happening all of a sudden which makes me think it might have something to do with the VTEC solenoid going bad? Dunno, stabbing in the dark here..

Yeah that would seem to make the most sense right now, if your not hitting vtec then your likely not able to consume the amount of fuel at WOT and your wide band is picking up a lean condition. Thats my first guess. The other was that you somehow switched over or changed part of the map on your EMS.
