Default Wastegate opening really early? Power loss?

I'm running an 11lb spring on my EWG and it opens up as early as 1-2psi, am I losing power because of this and is this normal? Would a MBC or EBC be worth my while?

Thanks for your help.

It's a spring..if its a 11lb spring its not going to slam open at 11psi. Its going to start compressing as soon as it gets any pressure against it. You need a boost controller. You can set a high duty cycle that will keep pressure against the top side keeping the WG shut. It will spool way faster and wont open until you want it to. according to whatever duty cycle you are running

U need logs to really see whats going on. All by ear is not very a accurate way to diagnose something.
