Default Sad day

Well guys I guess after 15200 short miles my 2008 supercharged motor appears to have seized up the other day.

1st Update- No idea what caused it...I have full clean oil. I can it every 1500-2000 miles and check everytime before I drive it. No overheating on my end. No cel or warning lights. I just shifted gears and before I let out of the clutch the engine died. I pulled over and the motor would crank. The battery voltage drops from 12vdc to ~8vdc but the battery is new and two parts stores tested it good. I removed the blower and acc belt today and put a breaker bar on the crank and it wont move. So either its a locked up starter, transmission issue, or seized motor.

2nd Update- So i pulled the plugs...still nothing....pulled the belt auto tensioner, alternator, and starter. And broke my 3/8 x 1/2" adapter. Put the crank tool on a big 24" breaker bar and the motor let loose almost knocking me on my butt. I can now turn the motor with a 3/8" rachet...the starter spins freely in one direction. Also the motor died 2 times right before I had to get it towed home.

3rd Update- Oil and filter drained clean...no movement in the crank pulley...everything in head looks good when I turn the motor by hand. When I shine a flashlight into the cylinder holes everything looks new....I see no black and can read the stamping on what I can see. So should i pull the head, drop the pan, drop tranny....or just fire it back up and see what happens?

Sound like what happened to me, just driving Normal then boom seized........ Prolly the crank thrust washer...... I'm betting on that ..... And or a bad oil pump which wrecked a main bearing.....

What kind of clutch? Did you bypass the clutch safety switch? Do you normally sit at idle with the clutch pedal pushed in?

Also, what type of oil do you use? Weight?
