Nope thrust washer

Can somebody volunteer to cure my ignorance, but what causes this kind of failure? I am running far less power than you, but I have the ACT clutch stock disc setup and wonder if I am at risk for such a thing. Never heard of this before. I probably have the revised ACT clutch since I just bought it this spring.
Supposedly, the ACT pressure plates have such great clamping power that a great amount of pulling force is needed to engage the clutch (for starting and changing gears), which multiplied by XXX amounts is enough to cause the thrust washer to wear out.

Mahle makes a good piston for Porsche. I have no experience with Mahle and S2000.

Most of the builds I am familiar with are using CP pistons.
