If you think maybe clutch related, watch the crank pulley while pressing the clutch pedal. May or may not find anything, but easy to check while its still somewhat together.

Tom said pull the valve cover. Spin the motor now while its off to see if everything looks good.

I'm still wondering if the clutch broke and the car was basically in gear. Pull head and trans. That's my rec.

I'm hoping for a broken clutch...taking the car to storage today

Oil and filter drained clean...no movement in the crank pulley...everything in head looks good when I turn the motor by hand

When I shine a flashlight into the cylinder holes everything looks new....I see no black and can read the stamping on what I can see

anyone else have any thoughts?? should i pull the head, drop the pan, drop tranny....or just fire it back up and see what happens?

Was your ebrake on, and rear tires on the ground when you were trying to spin it over? People have fused clutches broken pucks and god knows what else to these drivelines more often than you'd think
