SC Boost Leak: Front compressor cover
I need to do a boost leak test before my retune on Tuesday.
Do they have 4" PVC end tanks at Home Depot/lowes? Can you just drill and then screw in compressor fitting into PVC? Or do you install a tire valve stem?

I just did a boost leak test thanks to James for the recommendation, I found it in 10 minutes. Moddiction i found that a 3" pvc cap has an OD of 4" and thats what i used. I drilled a hole through the top and used a high pressure valve stem that's metal and threaded with a gasket on it. But i think what was key for me was having a smoke machine to fill the entire system. I just removed a vacuum line from the manifold and added the smoke there. Like James said cheap easy and takes very little time.
Added smoke first then hooked up my air chuck to a pvc cap with a tire valve stem. I'll try and get a picture up so you can see what I mean. Soapy water works good but I had access to the smoke machine and wanted to try it.
So far found 2 leaks one at each end of the intercooler so I have to pull the bumper again. But they leaked with basically no air pressure so I'm sure I'm losing quite a bit of boost.
My kit has cheap silicone couplers does anyone know where to get good intercooler boots? Aeroquip in town here wants over $30 per coupler.
