Default krank vent

i just received the krank vents and wanted to make sure i installed it right. both arrows from the krank vents are facing opposite way from
valve cover is this right?

there is a lot of air pressure inside the engine, like when i try to open the oil cap.
is this normal?

Yeah, arrows point away from the valve cover. There should be a suction noise when you pull the dipstick.
