How can I say this, its like doin your first line of coke. You go so damn fast and have so much fun that the cost of that first hit aint sheet compared to what you will begin to spend to keep up the speed. IE you will eventially get bored with the power and want more, the cost of extra supporting mods and adjustments gets expensive as hell pretty fast if you do it right and is why we call boost a legal coke addiction.

You can get a good deal on a SC from CT or SOS... the kits are very identical minus like 1 or 2 factors. If you have to tolerate CARB then CT is the way but if not SoS is nice too. Beside CARB certification, I have only been able to spot 3 differences in the two kits.... aftercooler design, pulley tensioner device and bushings.

SO ok you got your base kit, you can safely go all day with this. If you want to up the boost, you need injectors, pulley, EMS, a tune, labor etc... Doesnt sound like much but can easily run thousands. Cheap is a word you should avoid like herpies, like the clap because cheap will F you like a cheap hooker. How does the old saying go

"Fast and cheap is not reliable

Reliable and fast is not cheap"

The guys here are totally right about used crap, I wouldnt do it because too many risks and NO WARRANTY. There is a scam/con artist here on the boards selling his used garbage for damn near retail.... sure you may potentially shave off the cost of tax. Just imagine how pissed you will be when you find the blower to have a leak or something breaks and the dude tells you AS IS, this is why I always buy NEW IN BOX from a reputable retailer, that peace of mind is worth it.

Happy boosting, it will reignite your love for the car all over again!
