Default Sc water pump question

I just got my heat exchanger on, I have an upgraded bosch water pump, does it matter what way the hoses connect to the pump?

Here's the SOS method, although I've read that you can improve efficiency by having the pump pull from the heat exchanger, as opposed to push fluid into it.

yea, that's the 06-09 model...in that area the setup is very different. There's a lot more room in one of those...the earlier models have the air pump filling that area.
