Nope, the head will be done later this week and I will install next week but not start up until April most likely

Do / can / will they make an OEM compression version? This is of no help for lowered compression engines... Or those wishing to maintain the stock compression power/boost ratio.

Yes, they make a huge range of sizes custom tailored to your applications ask for Steve Norr if you call or use the below address. He was more than willing to help me out. I know that there are a few member shops that have SCE as a product line.

Can anyone confirm the OEM gasket thickness? I believe its .027", but cannot be sure... I searched and found .027 and .030 as answers from different people.

Just heard back from Mike Laskey. He has not used them personally, but has heard that they are great at sealing compression, but are not so good at sealing oil/coolant leaks.

He recommended an OEM HG sprayed in Permatex copper for low compression engine applications.

Just FYI for those reading!

dsddcd - Can I get a close-up of the "bead seal" that they run around the coolant passages? Wondering if it looks as effective as OEM...

Picture number 3 shows it, you can see the small reciever grove where the ring is inserted
