Question regarding the vacuum lines for the install:

No additional vacuum lines are provided for the relocated air control valve and the stock ones don't quite reach once I reinstall the air control box. Does the air control box also need to be relocated or does it go in the same location right behind the front lateral frame member?

Thanks in advance!
okay, so I figured out how the vacuum lines are supposed to go, but there's no way the OEM vacuum lines will actually reach with the air control valve relocated to the air control box that's behind the front lateral member.

How did you guys that installed this kit make it work? Did you go out and buy additional vacuum line? I don't mind doing that, but I'm just wondering since it doesn't say to do so in the install manual.

Yeah, the kit came with additional lines. You may have to cut to fit. I did.

The 2 included vacuum lines are for the pressure bypass valve and the fuel pressure regulator. Doesn't look like there's an extra one for the air control valve. I found a tee and just hooked up some shorter oem ones to make it work but it's a pretty tight fit. I'll probably fix it later when I get a chance to buy some additional vacuum lines.

Thanks guys.

Maybe you have the vacuum lines routed differently...I dont know. I know I had plenty, in fact, I trimmed some of them down.

Question regarding the vacuum lines for the install:

after removing the "hard line", how are the vacuum lines rerouted with the existing two coming out of the intake manifold under the fuel rail and the input/ouput of the air control box and the relocated air control valve?

No additional vacuum lines are provided for the relocated air control valve and the stock ones don't quite reach once I reinstall the air control box. Does the air control box also need to be relocated or does it go in the same location right behind the front lateral frame member?

Secondly, after adjusting the tension on the SC belt, am I supposed to tighten the nut for the tensioner pulley? The install instructions never explicitly says to do so...

Thanks in advance!

We were including enough line for this extension, however, I can see that it may not have been enough. We are changing the parts list to have a completely separate line for this purpose. If you'd like us to send this to you, please drop us a line at info@ScienceofSpeed.com. I will make these steps clearer in the installation guide. Thank you for your feedback.

Cheers,
-- Chris

What kind of water/coolant mixture would ya'll recommend in a climate that never gets into freezing temperatures, yet can get quite hot in the summer?
