What kind of water/coolant mixture would ya'll recommend in a climate that never gets into freezing temperatures, yet can get quite hot in the summer?
If the car will never see freezing temperatures, distilled water and Water Wetter would be the best option.

Is there any way to get the original pictures in this thread back? I am looking into the SOS kit around May, and it'd be great if I could use this as a supplemental guide.

hi guys --

I'm not sure what happen to the photos that some of the customers posted, however, just to let you know, we incorporated these suggestions and photos into the guide to further refine it.

Keep in mind that the discounts on the kit are good until the end of next month!

We currently have components in stock, and ship times are averaging 3-5 days.

cheers,
-- Chris

Question regarding the vacuum lines for the install:

after removing the "hard line", how are the vacuum lines rerouted with the existing two coming out of the intake manifold under the fuel rail and the input/ouput of the air control box and the relocated air control valve?

No additional vacuum lines are provided for the relocated air control valve and the stock ones don't quite reach once I reinstall the air control box. Does the air control box also need to be relocated or does it go in the same location right behind the front lateral frame member?

Secondly, after adjusting the tension on the SC belt, am I supposed to tighten the nut for the tensioner pulley? The install instructions never explicitly says to do so...

Thanks in advance!

I just started my install this weekend and have the same question. Which vacuum line goes on the top, which on the bottom, or doesn't it matter?

Also, does anyone have pics of how the race heat exchanger mounts?

Thanks!

I'm going to start my install pretty soon, I really wish these photo's were up. Hey chris, my kit came without a pre addressed box to send my ecu to hondata, i'm assuming this is because i ordered it and had it sent to an APO?? So should I just fill out the paperwork and put it in a box of my own and send it out?? if so will hondata take care of the return to me?? and what is their address?? thanks for the help.
