Sorry I did not realize how long it had been. I ended up leaving the military, and slapped the car back together enough to get off and on a trailer. Project is on hold as life has gotten in the way some good some bad. Currently at a point where I need to sit down and determine if I can continue the project myself, send it to a performance shop (what I am leaning most towards), or selling the car.

When I make a determination though I will be sure to update.

So this will be the last update for a little bit. I sat down and contemplated on what to do and I reached a decision. Turns out I lack the will power to sell the car (thankfully), and I don’t have the time to continue the project myself.

A couple weeks ago I found a shop an hour from where I live, got in contact with them, and before I knew it we were scheduling a day for pick up. The car is currently at their shop and now it’s a waiting game. I truly wish I could’ve continued the project myself but unfortunately life happened.

Those of you who commented on this thread thank you for joining me on this trip. When the car is back in my possession I’ll do a summary of everything and give the power results. I will also name the shop AFTER completion as to disclose my experience with them.

 

Where are you located? I may be looking for a good tuner shop as well to finish mine for me. I'm near Louisville, Ky but am having a really hard time finding a good shop around here..

 

I am located near Saint Louis, MO. Once I get the car back I’ll be sure to let you know what I think of the shop I used.

I'm not too terribly far from either of you... I generally don't bother with part installation or fabrication, but do do tuning.
