As of this morning it is running strong. After break in I will post up some performance numbers.
That intake is beautiful.

Thank You Brutus.

I spent many hours working that manifold. Took 4 lbs off of it along with all smog and plumming.
It is a breeze to install now because you can reach between the runners and apply the nuts.
I totally polished it and had it finished with a cold ceramic coating.

Questions!
How did you know where to cut without making the walls too thin or create a hole?
Once most of the material was gone, how did it come out so smooth like sculpture?
The cold ceramic coating is very intriguing. did it help lower ait? is there a trade name for it?

The cold ceramic just makes it slippery shiny. It was sanded with finer and finer paper, 200 to 2000 prior to buffing.

I am interested how you got the 7.5 crank pulley to work as well. ASP just finished my 6.5 as I didn't want to deal with contact issues.

Glad to see the S2K veteran getting the S back on the road. Not many of us true veterans around from the beginning it doesn't seem anymore or maybe there are more in the NA section I haven't kept up with.
That's b/c everyone else wised up and quit dumping $$ into this hobby, but the tried and true of us are still here.
Yep! I finally hit a cross roads, chose to give up on the boost, but not the car. I miss the added power, but not enough to give up on the car, with something that would just end up being inferior in every way but with more engine. The F22 thats opened up a little bit with the right bolt ons and tune isn't slow anyway. Just have to adjust your expectations a little bit. Its a drivers car first and foremost. Not many of those to choose from anymore, so its a keeper. I will just be happy at this point having some reliability and longevity back. Not having to replace a rear end, trans or motor every year to keep it on the road. Been doing that drama for the last 5-6 years in a row and its emptied my pockets.
