For pulley clearance I removed some material from the bracket that is in the way.

Interesting thanks Sideways. I have been thinking that if I see slip with my 6.5 crank and 3.6 blower pulley setup then I would do an 8 rib setup like yours. I doubt I will slip but we shall see. Awesome work and I am glad to see you have things up and running again.

You can't keep an old S2k down.

Good to hear you are back on the road. Sucks how a simple thing like bad workmanship on a TB can result in many hours of labour and loads of downtime and expense.

nice to see your up and running. I plan to do 8rib pulleys when I upgrade to a novi 1200 but for now the old 1000 doesn't leak power is ok and motor is healthy at the end of the day its all any of us can hope for

The old ratio was 9:1 with 55.2cc chambers. The new is 10:1 with 54cc chambers.

The photo shows the water pump pulley behind the crank pulley.

550+ rwhp is about right for the street. I am expecting over 600 rwhp at 9500 rpm.

Toyo RA1s are sticky and in the 275 size do a good job of hooking up.
