I was thinking the same maybe the first ones have a point. I have not installed them yet but the directions say to, still buying parts to build my head not sure on what valves I'm going with yet. Most likely just going with ferrea standard size comp plus vales, would like to get the inline pro 6.6 but the price will be much higher. I already had bc dual springs with steel retainers installed now so just get ferrea valves guides seals and be done, I learned trying to save money will cost you more later on sometimes hope it works out.

I had the Supertech inconel ex and stainless in dished valves, dual springs, ti retainers and honda guides. I put about 4000 miles on that head build and had everything checked when I had the head off to put the Fb studs in and the machine shop said everything looked great. I was making around 800 whp on that setup. Going for 1000+ whp now so I decided to go with a stouter head build.

Looks like we have thread jacked this thread. LOL

With the FB studs are you guys using 100 or 105 ft lbs torque? When you tighten them down they feel very solid.

It' says 105 on the box so I'm going with that, It may be different for the first version of the studs may want to ask fullblown.
