Hey! i have a question for ya. i figured you would know or have an idea since i read your posts and you seem to know what your speaking about. I am now turbo and i had a oil relo kit and the filter bolted up to the engine. Well i had just swapped in the new oil relo kit but there seemed to be no place to put it so i placed it on the main beam in from of the motor. After i filled with oil and what not.. she idled great and all but i started to hear a whining sound. Could it be the oil cooler making the sound and transferring it to the frame and thats the sound i hear? any info would help.. THANKS SPEC OPS!
I would doubt an oil filter relocation kit could make any kind of noise at all.

Sure its not the transmission / fuel pump / turbine?

I cant see the oil filter reloc kit making any kind of noise. I still havent been able to get my car opened up to see the problem. it is at a shop and i need to get it towed to my friends house so we can work on it. This is killing me it my damn daily. But what do you expect when you track the car

He is actually not that crazy. Its is very possible for the rings to be fried. And from the sound of whats going on it could be possible blown rings.
