SOS belt and return line question
Thanks for your pics and feedback guys. I appreciate the time you took.
I pulled the sc before starting and put the oil line where it needed to be.
I partially installed the aftercooler and then started the car looking for drama, and didnt find any. ;-) all seems well thus far, no oil leaks or bs. Sc doesnt sound like a glass jar of marbles either. Cant believe how much air it flows at idle, its just crazy!
Oh! Does the back of your aftercooler touch the bolt that goes into the alt bracket? Mine rubs on it a decent amount when i try and get the aftercooler somewhat straight.

Make sure you have at least 1/4" clearance between that bolt and the back of the aftercooler. The motor will rock back/forth when you're on the throttle. Any contact will wear thru your aftercooler in a matter of time.
I found that the silicone coupler SOS has provided is rather short. I backed off the coupler a few mm from the throttle body and was able to pull the aftercooler away from that bolt. Give that a shot and see if it works for you.
As a solution, I have ordered a 4" long silicone coupler myself and will be installing that when it comes in. With a longer coupler, you'll have more positive contact on the aftercooler outlet and TB.

I just dont like the giant gap between the ac and the tb to be just the silicone coupler. I may just weld some more 2.5" onto the aftercoolers outlet if i have time tomorrow. If not, ill just cut a longer coupler as i have plenty of that exact coupler in stock.
