Default SOS fuel n cluster issues

So I just finished my SOS stage1 kit for my ap2, install went smooth but..... There is some kinks I need to work out. Here ther are.

1: my fuel gauge keeps jumping around. Only a few bars, I drove it to fill the tank thinking it would be resolved but it's not. I was very careful not to touch the float or other electronics! So I'm thinking maybey I'll get a new f/p assembly and swap the pump over and that issue will be fixed?

2: the speedometer AND odometer are not working?? I don't have a clue why this would happen? Since it's a direct plug in ecu harness... (SOS plug in ecu, not a stand alone).

3: i only drove it like 5miles... (cant tell? No odo?) but the one time I gave it some gas it bogged out at about 6 rps? I have a c/t cat back exhaust so I'm sure the fpr needs to be adjusted to compinsate for it... I'll get a dyno/tune when the other issues are fixed so that's no biggie I'm sure...

4: and lastly, my check eng. light came on. I'm guessing a o2 sensor? I have access to a obd2 diagnostic tester so I'll be pluging that in and seeing what that problem is...

So anyone have any awnsers???

Did you install the pump correctly? It should be a constant rate, or perhaps the FMU is faulty but I doubt it. Install a wideband and monitor AFRs, adjust the FMU as needed. Tightening the screw restricts the return so more pressure is allowed through the injectors.

Double check all your connections for the ecu. Be sure the harness doesnt have any bent pins too.

I wouldn't drive the car until your sure that is correct as you can cause harm to the engine.

Did you install a fuel pump? If so, you only install the pump, not the sock. You can touch the float, as long as you dont bend anything.

Did you install a clutch, too? Or just the s/c?

Yup, I did the install and guys, I was VERY careful not to bend or touch ANYTHING!!! The sock was absolutly spotless!!! So I didn't have to clean it out... It's a 04, but not my daily driver. It only has 20,000 miles on it, so I decided to hold off on the clutch. I know I'll have to replace it at some point in my life. But my stock clutch doesn't show any signs of wear! I have a boost, a/f, and fuel press gauges I'll be installing soon. I Also spoke w/ a reliable mechanic and he seems to think everything (exc for fuel press) is electrical?? So I'll triple check my connections to the piggyback and go from there? Thanks!

Fixed!!! For some reason, there was a wire connected to where the new water pump power wire goes and I thought it was for my k40 radar... So I disconnected it and placed the pump wire there... Well I was looking at it and it seems that the k40 wire was tapped into a harness?? So I hooked them both together and pluged it in... BINGO!! Everything is PERFECT!! Took it for a Spin, speedo, odo both work. No CEL!! And the fpr seems to be fine. No boggin. Took it redline (almost). Def still gotta hook up gauges and get a dyno/tune. But damn, that's a big headach gone!!
