I'm assuming it has something to do with the crank pulley being connected to the supercharger.

The blower is pushing more air at idle then a turbo does at idle, plain and simple.

Wow on their site it says 3 PSI spring

Can anyone explain why to use a 2 PSI spring vs the 10 PSI I'm running now. They're both open at idle.

The same spring produces an effective pressure of 2PSI when used on the Q BOV and 3 PSI on the BV 50MM BOV. Tial states that this is due to the increased preload (compression) the spring sees when installed in the BV 50mm assembly.

Also, for everyone's FYI. I got in touch with Tial today. They offer a free spring replacement if you need one with a different spring-rate.

I'm shipping out my 10PSI spring in exchange for a 2PSI spring.

Thanks RAIN H8R for bringing up the question.

Hey, no credit here indicating to go with the softer pink spring? J/k, glad to see that you're getting the correct spring.
