So did we decide if there's a difference in the SL option blower and the regular blower? Is there actually a trim difference?

I believe the only difference is the Self Lubrication part.

Novi 1200 is the standard SOS kit engine oil fed blower.

Novi 1220SL is the self lubricating version of the above blower.

I don't think there are going to be any efficiency or power differences, just where the oil comes from.

The 1200 and the 1220 are two completely different blowers. The 1220 was designed for low boost/larger displacement engines. They use it in their 5.0 mustang kits.

There are SL versions of both the 1200 and the 1220. It's a different compressor wheel, so efficiency will definitely be different.

What is stopping one of you guys calling/emailing Votec about this? I would, but I do not know eenough about the blowers to do that..
