4000+ miles no issues. KW offered to upgrade my pulleys so I had them do it.

Your dyno graph is phenomenal! That must be a blast to drive! Roughly 200+tq from 4.5 rpms onto 8500 rpms! Did you start out with a youtune kit or did you have the hb kit and later got it retuned with the flashpro?

for jacking.

of course since we are on the subject of bad blowers, doesnt SOS use a similar if not the same blower as Vortec and Comptec? its not like those Paxton style blowers are indestructible either. Plenty of memebers have had them go bad over the years.

SoS uses the 1220, not the 1000. Lots of the issues I have seen come from overtightening the belts on the 1000. I haven't heard of an issue with a SoS (1220) blower yet.

With that said nothing's indestructible. Roots blowers go pop also. It just seems like KW been discussed more frequently.

not the same but yes similiar. However, the Paxton blowers are easier and cheaper to rebuild.

I believe you will be right at 400 with the hytech set-up! Where do you have your redline set? 8500? I can't wait until I get back in an s2k and get the kw kit, I will hope to pair it up with the i-vtec conversion to have fantastic midrange and great top-end as well. But we are a couple years before I get back in the S!

But once again Great set-up you have there, enjoy it man.

Yes that's right, the biggest difference is the KW rotrex blowers spin at twice the rpms.

Good luck getting back in one!
