Found the pulley and center bearing stuck in the undercarriage of the car. Bearing is completely seized. I'm guessing it's just old and eventually failed.

Got the new one in and installed with a new belt. However, in a test run I am only seeing 4 lbs of boost according to my gauges (should be 5.5, stock pulley). In a twist test the belt is twisting over 90 degrees fairly easily so I probably need to get more tension the problem is... how? I got it as tight as I could get it and it was loose. I loosened the adjusting nut slightly and tapped the arm with a rubber mallet and then retightened it to get where I'm at now. It still feels just as a loose. Then again there's not a lot of room to get a decent swing in there.

Any tips for getting the tension just right?

You have the right idea, but I use a piece of aluminum pipe to rest on top of the adjuster tab and hammer down on this, anything you can find would likely do as long as it fits and is long enough. You can get it as tight as you want (too tight even)IF you insure the lock nut has enough tension on it to keep the adjustment from flexing back under the increasing bent tension. Tighten the lock nut as tight as needed to keep it in place but not so tight you can get any movement from the adjuster. Once you are happy with the amount of belt tension, then tighten the lock nut up fully

Off topic. I noticed how you said your comptech is the older SC. I purchased mine used. How do you know if its an older sc or newer sc?

The older ones are NOVI 1000's vs 1220's in the newer kits. You should be able to read the number on the side of the housing.

Haven't gotten around to trying to re-tighten the belt. Getting over a cold this week
