First and foremost, my car is still running and running great. I have a little over 7k on the kit now for the most part, its been trouble free. I will outline some of the challenges I've had since last year and some overall comments.
About two months into owning my kit, my 5857 went to shit. My oil return line was too low and was backing up in the line. We tapped the girdle for the return and also changed the oil feed from the vtec solenoid to the oil pressure sensor. Replaced the turbo with a BB 6262 and had the piping thermal coated which really helped a lot with the underhood temps. You can see both the piping and return reroute here:
There are rumblings on the board about the Mase manifold cracking. To set the record straight, I never verified that my manifold was cracked. I was told through my mechanic who was told from the powdercoater when the manifold was coated. He nor I ever verified it. As a precaution, we added a brace to the exhaust by the transmission and I swapped out my 85a motor mounts (worst mod I ever did) back to stock. No issues. One minor issue I still need to work through is the occasional smoking I get in vacuum. It is very light and spotty in occurance but it does happen. I'm being told the restrictor on the turbo may not be small enough, still looking into it.
I've been retuned twice by two tuners local to me since Mase's original tune and this last one was by far the best. My last tune was done by Alpha @ Induction Performance and came out very well. This is the last dyno done on a local dynojet @ ~14psi:
This was on the same dyno I did 207whp when it was N/A. That's a legit 2x stock power. Stock motor, 93 octane. I'm happy with that. I pulled my plugs this past Monday and they look great. Gap is still ~ .28 like it was for the first tune. NGK 2668.
I also solved the issue with my Kpro disconnecting during a pull. There was no ground on the valve cover and the laptop wasn't on the same ground loop as the ECU. This let the USB port on the laptop pick up all sorts of noise and would kill the connection. I grounded the valve cover to the battery and plugged the laptop into the car via a AC-DC convertor and the connection holds rock solid as its supposed to. In addition to that, solved an issue with the PLX not showing correct in Kpro by removing a two transistors within the ECU. AF now reads correctly.
I've had enough seat time with both turbo's now to give my opinion...for the street the 5857 is hard to beat. The spool is great and it holds strong up top. The 6262 moves the powerband to the right and for the street on straight 93 you don't get close to maximizing its potential. It does come on harder and sound a little stronger than the 5857 but if I ever get the chance I will gladly trade back to the smaller turbo. If you're going to do the 6262, you need a wastegate bigger than a 38mm to control it better. My boost creep is very minimal but depending on weather conditions I will hit my boost cut (15psi).
I now have Hankook Ventus V12's 245's in the rear and I have no traction issues. I have yet to take it to the track and see what kind of mph I can get out of it but I keep getting lazy. Maybe someday. I also want to get a race gas tune and see 500+ on the stock motor with the simple fuel setup I have now, again maybe someday. If it tells you anything...I did have have a late night encouter with a c6 Vette about a month ago. He had around 3 cars on me at 150mph. Then again, he was spraying a 200 shot and making 580whp so I don't feel bad lol.
There is a S2000 meet happening in Orlando this Saturday https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=785780 and I will have my camera with me. The car is going back on they dyno just for shits and grins and I will try to make a comprehensive video of the car and its performance - just need to secure a good cameraman/woman. Hope to have something decent to post up early next week.
All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and the support I've received from Mase and his team. There are a lot of tubo kits on the market but I believe this to be one of the best in terms of fitment, power potential & quality. The only disadvantage with this kit I see is the 2.5in dp. Not sure if there's a big difference, but I'd like to know how much whp you pick up going from the 2.5 to 3 inch.
I think that about covers it. Any questions, feel free to post.

Thanks for the update, it was a good read.
Sorry I don't know the model number for the precision turbo too well yet, is your new 6262 about the same as the GT35R?
With Kpro did you ever consider setting up boost by gear?
Yes, about the same turbo.
I am using the boost by gear, but only to reduce the boost to combat creep in the higher gears+RPM's. Apparently I don't make enough power to spin all over the place like some people say they are.
If its backing up in the line the turbo will cause your car to smoke. I can't see the picture right now, but if you have to question whether its too low chances are it probably is.
The oil cooler lines should have stayed intact. I have less room in that area with my recirc'd dump than regular kits and I still have mine.
the car smokes a light grey color when i usually take off or come to a stop? think its the return line?
By capping of 1 of the 2 lines that are connected to where the oil filter goes, will it effect anything? i was told it was done to by pass that line because it sits to close to the manifold
also im sure ur running a walboro 255, how is yours installed?
when the car gets to a qtr tank it starts running really rough/bad it will not drive good what so ever at that point and also when i come to a stop and am idleing it cuts off--(this is all whe im around a 1/4 tank or less)
im so frustrated with all of this and i have only have the kit on a week and a half
