mase should have told you that i am on my third aem filter this is my new solution i did the other month, since i have had no issues, and removed it the other day to clean etc and no sticking or heat issues melting the filter or silicone hose

Crazy...I bought a rubber extension very similar to what you have. Glad to hear its working out. Mase, this is definitely an issue you'll want to address in future iterations of the kit.

Any signs of it giving up the ghost? I'm a little weary of that stock rear with so much power on tap.
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to clutches and all, did you just upgrade your stock PP and flywheel? I've been looking at the CC 1420 Series clutch. Is that comparable to what you're running?
