Spoon Clutch and Pressure Plate
Im guessing that a Spoon clutch would not be the best choice for an boosted car since Spoon focuses on NA applications, but I was wondering if anybody had tried the Spoon Clutch, PP, and Flywheel or with a Comptech flywheel on a boosted s2k. Wondering how it holds and how long it lasted.

Mind sharing? I know the OEM Clutch, ACT PP, and Comptech flywheel is what a lot of people use for FI. The Spoon clutch with Comptech flywheel is just as if not cheaper. Thats why I was asking. What are the cheaper and better kits youtalk about? A puck clutch is out of the question!

Have you looked at anything from SPEC? A lot of my F body friends like them.

I have the Spoon PP/dics/flywheel combo and going turbo next week. I don't wanna talk BS out of my a$$ but I don't see why it should not hold up. It feels like stock when moving from first (I think that's what u r lookin 4) but it grabs really good between the shifts. I will stick to this combo till it goes and I have a Spoon 3-puck disc on stock in garage for later. The PP from Spoon is 30% stronger than stock, so you should be fine. No noise, no vibrations...just a stock feel+stronger grip clutch...just my 0.2$

I have had a Spoon PP and disk with a Toda light flywheel. I love this setup. It held when my car turned 300 WHP. And has No probs. with my new mods. It has about 13,000 hard miles on it.

I might end up using the Spoon clutch and PP with a Comptech flywheel. I guess I will decide soon.
