sr20 conversion ?
I posted about this about 2 years ago, I saw this car being built while my car was there at JE. I think its just a cheaper engine to go with that has lots of after market support. They have a kit to do the complete convert. James is a pretty good guy, if your intested you should contact him.

But for the money & time you have to invest to do an SR swap, you could just build an F24 motor & make good tq.

sr20 motors are great, but i wouldn't take out an f20c and swap it to a sr20, unless you had just a shell, then i would say go sr20det unless you wanna spend 10k to make 300-500hp on an f20c. but everyone thinks diff.

thanks
i have just emailed him thanks, in england sr20det's are very popular in the drift scene and the parts are very easy to get and not that expensive it looks like my s2k engine is wrecked so this could be a good conversion for me
I definitely wouldn't say sr are bad. They can put down quite a bit of power on pump without revving that high. A pump gas 91 oct sr with a stock bottom end put down 430whp dynamic on a gt30r @18-19psi. Thats pretty damn good to me. But they are old. If you want a less common swap go for a ve head. 9k plus revs.
