^^^
what are those wholes from>? what created them? the only negative effect i can imagine is maybe a little bit of turbulence in the flow? but i dont know much about fluid dynamics.
manifold looks great!!!

I took it to my mechanic who was very impressed with the quality of the manifold...

we have one problem though and it's that we don't think the wastegate (38mm tial) will clear the head, if it doesn't I'll make sure to contact steed speed and ask them why it was built this way...

It looks like the wastegate can be setup either way? Also, do you know if this manifold moves the turbo out as far as the IP setup does, making certain turbos hard to install without cutting chunks of the frame out? I can't wait to see some numbers!

To answer a few questions here.
The holes in the second pic are bolt holes that penetrated through. They are meant for the 10x1.25 bolts that hold the turbo in place. I'm worried about red hot exhaust fresh from the cylinder running over the tips of those bolts.

The wastgate can't be oriented either way as the other two holes are used for bolts attaching the flange to the manifold. I guess your dump tube could point forward if you needed it to.

As I haven't seen mine installed yet I don't know whether or not the frame will need to be notched. However I'm running a 50trim t3/t4 turbo and the manufacturer claims this manifold will accomodate something as large as a GT35 without further adjustment.

It won't be on a dyno for awhile. But my setup made about 320hp or so at 8psi with my original tubular/equal length manifold.

I bought the manifold from Horsepowerfreaks for 600 bucks. Their group buy price was lower but since nobody bit on it I had to pay a bit more to get mine. I got a small discount because i bought about $1000 worth of stuff in my order

depending on numbers, i might be interested in this as well. It would still be easy to install and if the design helps increase power over a conventional log manifold, I'm all over it!

On my UR manifold, the bolts go into the manifold and are subject to exhaust gases... since i installed a flex pipe on the downpipe, i have not had any issues with bolts coming un done!

$600 bucks is worth it, If it never cracks or gives you problems.
