^^^ Good to know. What clutch did you end up using?
First I burned up a comp stage 5 first launch in the car at the track, then I went to an act hdg6 kit and burned up the disc in a matter of about 100 miles, now in the car is a act with a street disc but I just bought a built th350 and ordered a Hughes converter and trans brake for it as well. I'm kinda over the whole standard and clutch issues and the th350 is much much much lighter rotating weight than a th400 and still 3 speed. I thought about going with a glide but I wanted a 3 speed
How much power your car putting out? And the 2nd clutch that lasted 100 miles, was that 400 1/4 mile runs
Wonder your car is so hard on clutches?

Ya I don't know why it's so hard on clutches, and the 100 miles were all street miles no launches and no track time. Car dyno'd 525whp at 13psi on a gt4088r on the stock long block before it dropped valves, but the new motor will be much more power than that it's a race car now no more street driving

My first trip to the drag strip in the s2000 with 500whp and stock rear end I snapped the inner CV clean off at the 6200rpm launch. And I was spinning until 3rd gear and doing 2.10 60~ not hooking on ventus rs-3`s ... so it didnt take much to snap it...
