Default Is the stock oil pressure sensor needed with EMS

Curious does the aem ems use the stock oil pressure sensor gauge for reading anything?

Instead of Ting off of the block to keep both, could I not just hook the feed line right up to the block?

Thanx in advance

No need for it. I used the stock location for my oil pressure gauge.
