The Struggle is Real...Another KW Kit Issue
Yep my tuner had issue with the tune. The fuel kept changing on him when he sets it and he seemed like he didn't wanted to tune my car lol. He said It's not so bad but he does recommend to change them. I'm running on the stock pulley and on 93 pump gas. I was on the dyno jet. My tuner was also wondering why I was making lesser boost as compared to the 81 kit he did and mines a 91. But I guess it is what it is. I guess it's not always bigger is always better.
Just got my car dyno today didn't expect my numbers be this low. With all the upgrades I did, thought it would have been a better outcome. J's racing headers, j's racing test pipe, Greddy tic dual exhaust and the 91 blower kit. I made 415hp and 275tq on 12lbs in 105 degrees if that even matter. Was really hoping 450 lol or at least 420. In all the car is so much fun to drive now. I haven't heard about anyone posting anything problems with their fuel pump and injectors but my tuner suggest I should replace mines. He said the previous kw kit he tuned as well had problems with his fuel pump and injectors it blew up on the dyno. Anyone has problems with theirs? I'm also thinking really hard if I should consider on upgrading the pulley for more boost. Drove the car for 3 hours today did a lot of hard pulls
So far the install and tune turned out great. Thanks to everyone that helped me answer my questions with my install.

It is a bit different driving a car in which the acceleration increases as the speed increases - and does so strongly. I am very happy with this kit - even if it does only make just over 400 whp.
Based on my own experience and hanging around here, I'd say the temperature had a lot to do with the max boost. I was tuned at 80F and hit 8.3 psi during dyno. At the track at 102F, I was only getting up to 7 psi but still having fun and hanging around with some big boys.
Also, I'm convinced that supporting mods may lower your max boost but you would be producing just as much power as someone with no other mods. Low boost and a very conservative tune is better for long term anyway :-) Enjoy the car!

Too be clear, get a boost leak tester and apply 20 psi then check for leaks. I doubt you'll be able to tell just looking at them.

It's a ap2 I will double check all the hoses again for boost leak you guys giving me hope that it could make more lol!! I'm happy what power it's making though just numbers are a bit low then expected.
Use an air compressor to pressurize the entire intake system through the valve stem and use the pressure gauge to limit pressure to no more than about 20 PSI. Don't expect the system to hold pressure. There may be leaks from your pressure tester and through the engine valves and rings. You are interested in finding leaks in the charge piping so just keep adding air to hold about 15-20 PSI while looking for leaks in the piping.
Is there any way to check the size of the blower by just looking at it. I would like to make sure that I got the -91 blower and not the 81 by mistake. I saw a guy on fb that got his mix up but kw was able to help him from the look of a box mark. The only visible number i see is a 6 digit number right where the bracket is at. I got it installed by a shop so i didn't really inspect the stuff inside the box. Would all codes be the same by size or its just a product number.
