Which Supercharger?
Well my reaseach has left me with more questions, than answers. I have initially decided to go with SOS and get the Hondata Kpro to maintain the OBDII plug for inspection. Even though SOS isn't CARB legal at this time, as long as the inspetor can read the codes, I'm golden. The problem is my AP1 would have tohave a change in Valve cover to accomadate a cam sensor, and my current valve cover was just chromed, so I really don't want to go that route now. I can't go AEMl, unless I can bribe the inspector to pass it, and somehow I don't think that will happen.
This brings me to go to my second choice which is the Comptech system, if Evans Tuning comes up with a piggyback harness for the Haltech ECU with the OEM ECU. Anyway, the project is going to take a slower pace while I find out my options. I may just go with SOS and then when I up the boost, take the car to Evans for an upgraded ECU and wide band controller. Damn CARB laws -

I'd say SOS... ive been doing research ongoing for nearly 4 months... the SOS Stage 1, its a plug and play, and IF you decide to go bigger, the guys there i talked to said they can get you an "upgrade" package to step up to the stage 2+ if you'd like down the road. Their service is fantastic, and i've only heard of a couple of the oil starvation issues, but the design of the independent oil well for it is kinda small anyway, and using your cars oil is easier anyway. I didnt look for highest speed/psi... thats irrelevant to me, i want something reliable and capable of DD, even though it wont be.
My research brought me to two choices, the Mase Turbo-kit, and the SOS Stage 1 kit... both are plug and play. I decided that, after calling SOS once, and getting replies to all my questions via email or phone, when i needed them, and very quick responses that i liked SOS. Mase is a good company, and they have a great product, but i spend 3 weeks and dont get anything from mase, and they also dont answer the phone... figured they were busy, but id rather be able to get help when i need it. So SOS is my choice.
Stage 1 Kit, With upgraded cooler, WITHOUT independent oil res. Then get a clutch, and you are good to go... but don't get happy and launch it or you will blow your diff. Oh, and fun fact, the highest HP supercharged s2k on s2ki is running a SOS kit... just for those people talking bout kits vs power... SOS is #1 SC

CT SC/AC since early '06 with AEM 1052, light flywheel, and Competition stage 2 clutch at about 30K miles. 9 lb. SOS pulley and retune in '08 with no problems. Now just under 52K miles. Makes 320-330 at the wheels and is a ton of fun FWIW.
Daily driven except for this time of year - then only on the nice days.
I'm also running Richmond 4.57s in the diff - that may explain why I'm not looking for any more power. 9K comes pretty quick as it is for an old guy.

What oil are all you non-SL guys running? This is my 1st oil change sine breaking in the motor I decided to go royal purple 5w30. Just wondering if that oil is suited to a sc setup? Any feedback would be great! Thanks guys.
Also I might add the car is still Na, waiting for my kit to arrive. I figured it would be good to put a couple thousand k's on the engine since it's still a baby.

A big consideration for me would be trap speed. And there seems not to be a lot of data.
I would like to see trap speed vs cost, and trap speed vs boost for each kit.
