Was thinking about getting a supercharger for MY04. A friend of mine has a MY03 and got a vortech charger for his but I didn't like the rattling noise it made when your coming out of first gear he said it was normal. Was wondering if the comptech unit made the same noise.

Both Comptech and Vortech units make a "rattling" noise normally at idle.

 

Not when it's idle. I mean when your in first gear starting off

 

The noise is still normal.

 

Hmm, could you explain? Im new as you can see, and im looking to get a s2k by the end of the week. Im just wondering cause im looking at getting a comptech supercharger and supporting mods.

You're hearing the gears inside the SC. It's a loud rattle at idle, and then changes to a "Whir" under load.
