Any chance you guys have calculated the speed at redline per gear like on the Z33 tranny thread? I'd like to see the difference from the gear ratios. Also rgeat job, awesome trans option!!

 

with the stock tranny being around:
45, 65, 92, 118, 140, 172


according to an online calculator the v160 will be around:
36, 60, 82, 105, 138, 174

and the v161 will be around:
36, 62, 88, 114, 137, 170


those are ROUGH estimates tho

 

I'm confused. How does the stock tranny get me to 172mph? If it does then mine is broken! Lol.

 

Looks good so far! These Supra trannies are definitely strong enough for even the most beastly S2000, and pricing makes it a much more attractive option than a dogbox.

I punched everything in this... its actually very similar to ap1 gearing. (the 4.756 final drive accounts for the 1.160 secondary reduction gear. And I put in 9500 rpms

We got it done today, this thing shifts perfect. You wouldn't be able to tell that it has a different transmission. I'm hoping to dyno it very soon here. This is a totally different setup from last year's. The car is now running our stage 2 turbo kit.

 

How much power do you make before you need 2 fuel rails?!? And how do you get that setup? Lol

 

800+ on e85 with low injector duty cycle. The car runs ID1000s for primaries so it idles and drives like a stock car.
