Default Is this the Tach lead wire?

Im installing a shift light (any suggestions of where to mount it, I hate the riceyness of it). I have seen the Modifry thread where you take off the Passenger panel thing underneath the airbag area, but I have read there is also a tach lead wire near the master cyclinder

I read something about a blue wire ( is it one of the blue ones in the top right picture)

The tach test connector is a single blue wire (ie. a wire leading to a two pin connector). It will be located by the fuse box on the drivers side. You can use that as a reference (signal wire).

Yeah. That's the wire you're looking for. Which tachometer did you end up buying?

You can; just need to configure an available output accordingly
