I completely agree. But with his current mod list, he is running a 2mm headgasket and doesn't plan on removing it. Hence why I brought up the fact about running a 2mm headgasket and suggesting he not want to push it more than that setup is capable of.

With his goals, I'd assume he wants around 500whp even though he has not stated it. With what I recommended, he will get there.

I see your point. Yeah I would definitely suggest the removal of that thing if he wants to make it more reliable.

I appreciate all the input. All these options make it very difficult for me to decide! lol

Your right, D1sclaimer, i havent stated any specific power goals. I'm not too concerned about numbers. It's just that I got this beautiful turbo on there that needs to be woken up. I am currently at 400hp with the 6265 hooked up to IP log sippin' on 93oct @ 14psi, which is pretty decent imo, but that turbo is still sleeping at 14psi.

The idea of keeping the log and filling up with e85 is spinning in my head. This would bring the cost down to... well... nothing, except a tune of course. This way I should be able to bump the psi up a couple notches closer to 18 or so? Maybe I ought to try this option out first and see how it goes?

I have a big concern about reliability. 500 range should be pretty safe. I really don't want to blow my 3rd rear end. A v160 and 8.8 are not in the budget at the moment (fiance wants a wedding on the coast in malibu with over 100 guests.

I'm excited that I'm located in the same region as LJ @ Fullblown. Straight up one of the nicest and experienced fellows I've met.

Thanks again for all the input and suggestions guys! -Joe

I vote FullBlown top mount, great manifold and great results. Probably the only member using this beauty?
Will use it for the 800hp hunt and see how it goes. (Check my build thread for pics.)
