why would brass be a disaster waiting to happen? most of the oil fittings on ATPTURBO.COM are even brass.

I had brass forever and it was never a problem. Nothing to worry about IMO.

Believe it or not, I think the way you've installed your Comptech oil drain is the way to go. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, if I could do it all over again, I would've tapped into the block like Cherry04 did.

Just for reference, according to Comptech's instructions, the oil pan drain plug is supposed to be replaced with the provided 14mm to -8 male fitting. The actual drain tube coming from the back of the blower is then supposed to be connected to that fitting. I believe all the Comptech kits were installed this way, but I'm not sure (the earlier kits may have had different instructions). Here's a snapshot of the Comptech instructions:

The only supercharger kit that I'm aware of that required you to drill and tap into anything was the Vortech. To install the drain on the Vortech, you are instructed to drill and tap into the oil pan. I believe the Vortech kit even came with a drill bit for the drilling.
Thats the feed line. Or were you just pointing out the caption in the text?

The absolute best place to put the oil drain is in the girdle or skirt that is just above the oil pan. Just remove the oil pan and you can see how much better of a place it really is and why UR uses this area for the turbo drain.
are you guys seeing these pressure areas even with a good catch can setup? and im not talking about those bolt on catch cans that you can buy from a shop. im talking about (3) good sized an lines coming off the valve cover.

-10an or -12an lines which are 5/8" and 3/4" respectively are the most common size return lines.
