S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Thinking of spinning the vortech blower to 15 psi.

I'll post up pics and info once I've routed it the diverter under the fender. Hoping I can find hoses and filters locally (Pep Boys, Autozone) to assemble something solid.
Yeah im just having a really hard time finding one that fits. They dont really make vacuum plugs...just caps.

Ok, got mine done. I bought a long radiator hose and a small filter from Pep Boys. It all fit together perfectly for what I wanted to do. Now I can't hear the valve opening at all, and the car sounds much quieter. I took some pics for your amusement.

Here you can see that I used a shorter length of hose to position the diverter valve, and the longer hose (lying atop the radiator) will route the filter down under the fender.

Here's a close-up shot of the finished diverter valve installation.

And here's the filter. I zip tied the hose to the factory air pump bracket, and also to the A/C line bracket inside the engine bay.

Here are some pics of how close the BLV is to the OEM radiator. They might have welded it on directly like this to save space in case I needed to unscrew it farther (which I do need to do). It's hard to tell from the angle I took the pics at, but from looking at it in person I think it'll just clear the shroud covering the fan.

You can see the white ball inside the BLV more clearly in these pics. There's a spring holding the ball against the opening into the aftercooler. It's really a simple design.

TO Good job on the bypass valve...I looked all over pepboys of a filter that would fit it but all they had were 3/8" filters.

Thanks! The radiator hose was #71986. I spent a while back behind the counter measuring hoses until I found this one. I cut it into two pieces and used the curved piece from the aftercooler to the diverter valve, then the long piece from the valve to the filter. I still have the original SOS hose in case I ever want to go back to the normal setup.

The filter wasn't with the rest of the air filters. I think it's a crankcase vent filter, and was on one of the other aisles. It fit perfectly inside the hose. BRHTR HP PSH IN CTN #42859 is what's shown on the receipt; sorry I just cleaned up the garage and threw out all the packaging.

OK guys I did a few logs yesterday and I was seeing IAT in the 130+ but mainly hovering around 140 degrees at all times. I bypassed the valve like TO did and logged some driving. When the car is moving now I was seeing IAT as low as 112 degrees but averaged temps around 118-120 on a 95 degree day. I noticed that if the car was sitting still the IAT would raise as high as 130 degrees but drop quickly once I was moving. Remember guys Im still breaking in everything so Im at less then 20% throttle.

So your IAT's were ~140 before bypassing the valve, and ~120 after? Sweet!

So my s2000 is at Evans Tuning right now to be tuned. Im thinking of getting the BLV installed and limiting a 20psi pulley to 12-14psi so I dont have to swap pulleys. I rather just remove the BLV and install a plug when ever I run race gas.

Torque Obsessed do you think there is enough room to do that?

I think that's a great idea. I'm going to try limiting an 18psi pulley to 13.5psi in mid July.

You might not even have to remove the BLV to run race gas. Just tighten it up and see if it holds. According to their website, the spring can hold up to 30psi.
