niiiiiiiiiice... but why the flex flange? i would imaging none of the components move yah?

have you lost power going this route? i'm assuming since you said you dont have a headache anymore you were open dump?

i didn't have an open dump, my request when the car was built was to keep it as quiet as possible. I have been around cars with open dumps and they can be obnoxiuos, but to each his own. For me the lower db's are worth the trade off.

om not sure why he used the flex flange, i would think it just to aliviate some of the stress from movement. it may be a weak point right now because trying to tract down an exhaust leak and i have a feeling its coming from the flex flange area. I would think that just a straight pipe would have been fine but i trust scott(the fabricator) had a good reason for it.

its definately quiet especially to someone like you who is used to an open dump, but right now the exhaust leak is quite audible so its not as quite as it should be.

hmm... i wonder if they can pull that off..

Oh.. and the folks that have done this... when the WG starts dumping... *after welding the dump toob into the downpipe* did the noise completely go away? or did the exhaust sound kinda loud still?
The exhaust definitely gets louder but nothing like it would with an open dump.

The angle that the wastegate dump enters the downpipe is VERY important. Be sure whoever fabricates this for you has some experience with this.
