One suggestion,
ask the fabricator / weld shop to make the dump tube as tangential as possible to the downpipe tube.
Avoid the easy 90* weld. Some shops will just make dump tubes that are perpendicular to the gas flow direction in the exhaust stream. Gases don't like right angles!

It will require extra work as you have to cut the pipe at an angle and cut an elliptical hole in the downpipe, but it will flow better as the gases will meet at a smaller angle of incidence as opposed to a 90* angle

here you can see how I did mine (top) for my Subaru. the tube joins the downpipe at a small angle, the bottom pic is what shops like to do as it's easier to cut a pipe in a straight section and make a round hole in the dpipe, then weld.

ahhh.. i see..

hmm i wonder if Ptuning is capable of doing so. when someone told me it sounded like i was draggin metal on the ground when i was going WOT, I was like....uh no.. lol

I don't see why well established shop wouldn't be able to fab up something similar. Heck if I can hack 2 pipes and make them fit like this, then any half decent shop should be able to do it. It should be no more than 2 hours worth of work. It's the best way to merge 2 pipes and have a less turbulent flow
Remember, you are the paying customer so you tell them what you want.

This is what the pipe cross-section will look like. You can have them merge it just before the 2nd bend (just before the dpipe flange that mates to the cat converter section). Stop your buddies from bugging you about grinding screaming metallic sounds under your car! Do it !

shouldn't loose too much power from doing it as long as it's done right. Like others have said make sure it flows back into the downpipe smoothly. Also the farther downstream from the turbo the better.

hmm... i wonder if they can pull that off..

Oh.. and the folks that have done this... when the WG starts dumping... *after welding the dump toob into the downpipe* did the noise completely go away? or did the exhaust sound kinda loud still?
