I think any changes to the flow of the exhaust would or should get a retune...

if ur losing power by welding the dump toob to the exhaust i would see if maybe retuning it would help offset it some..

i know when i was turbo on a hks exhaust then went 70mm... made a big difference.. and when i retuned it.... gained more hp..
