I'm keen to read anything else on the Paxton self lubricated option and known failures. Are there any other threads other than this one?

I'm planning on acquiring the SOS stage 1 kit, hopefully as a Christmas present to myself, and was all keen on the SL option until I read this thread. Intuitively, one would think the SL option is better too - keep things separate. But I also recall seeing a post from Chris at SOS saying that his personal preference was for the engine oil fed lubrication.

why fipk? because i have to drive it atm, and the SOS SC is easily taken on and off, so if i wanted i could remove it for short periods of time and go back to my FIPK... so till i get the SC, i will have the FIPK to drive safely
