Default Tracking down hi-idle issue-picture

After said and done -- I got the car running but I can't trackdown why the hi-idle (3,000rpm). This car does not have much vacuum except:
one for fuel regulator, one for the BOOST gauge. Nothing else I need and I blocked them all.
Even it's hot the idle will not go down to 3,000rpm. I have AEM EMS ecu.

I reset the TPS reading 0.30 at close (resting) and 4.5V at wot. The idle valve are all connected. The idle screw in the right adjustment.
Any idea where to hunt?

Here is the engine picture http://imageshack.us/a/img29/1213/7engine001.jpg

You see, it's a simple setup but where did I go wrong?

thank you

1. IAC full open
2. Vacuum line/port not connected
3. Throttle cable holdding throttle open

I'd start with #1- I don't know AEM, but try disconnecting IAC valve while car is in high idle- if it dies, that's your problem. If not dosconnect the throttle cable. After that, listen for a open vacuum line.

Like hybrid said unplug iacv. If it still idles high then it is not tune related. You either have a leak or throttle plate is stuck open. Spray carb cleaner arount intake mani to check for leaks.

Yeah I cleaned the PVC and would like to test it.
For some reason, the car sputter - sometimes it will start and stop -- sometimes it will not start.
I think something wrong with my crank sensor. The anti freeze overflowed in the crank sensor area and something happened.

Thanks
