hmm, well if you go VT that might hold otherwise, its gonna be a traction limited in first and maybe second.

when i was at 300 and 350whp on 265-35-18 azenis 615s, i could spin them from a low 2nd gear roll. 1st gear was spin city at will.

i would go with a better tire personally.

I've been thinking bout buying a set of slicks for the drag strip but I'm scared ill blow up the rear end on first launch. Anyone got advice on this other than buying the inline pro rear end kit?

I went to the 1/8 mile track with my hoosier r6's practice some launches. I did 3 good burn outs and 3 different types of launches and had traction issues everytime at my power level I was even spinning third on the track. Combo of cold night and bad track prep. On the street you have to roll on it in first second and third.

so as far as a street tire... any other suggestions for the size of rims I have? I do not want a "drag tire" or anything like that.... just a good solid street tire. I thought what I have is a good street tire... but I just went with what the people that sold me the rims told me... I am open to anything else... cuz i am coming due on tires here soon...

I have the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 for Summer. Good grip, price, and longevity for tread. They're on AP2v1 rims at CR sizing.

I had the Hankook iPikes for Winter. Excellent tires and much cheaper than Blizzaks. You don't have to spend a ton of cash for good tires.

Yep, I used to run them on my Fbodies and Vettes and I have had the car go sidways on me in the rain under no throttle conditions.
