Transmission?
s2king is running 7.50's at 179 with the ppg gear set, i think itll hold for the most part. this gear set is about 8k but still gotta clutch and still uses the stock trans case so there are limitations to it. anytime you put an aftermarket gear set in a stock case, it eventually becomes an expensive bandaid.
cant really put a gforce in a daily driver. more fabrication required including an adapter plate and aftermarket bellhousing. but no clutching necessary and indestructible for the most part.

it really depends how u drive it, if u mash gears your gonna break stuff, shift easy and your stuff should last, Im gonna try and run the stock one at 750hp, hopefully it hold up for a while
I spoke to Jon at TRE a while back and he did some computer calculations on the S's trans at 500 wtq for me. He told me that if I had a fairly low mileage "virgin" (no boost) trans and used either Redline MT-90 or Neo 75w90 RHD to help the shock on the gears, I should be able to get at least 80 hrs at near 500 wtq in 3rd gear and above (2nd is the weakest). Thats 80 hrs of beating on it at full tq load, not just putting around town and thats pretty darn good. Just putting around normally, the trans will last just as any other stock trans with the stock motor would.
Also, you wont be able to put anymore down than about 480-500 whp in second gear even with good hot DR's and dont even try to do anything with first gear. So, limit first and second gears to around 480 whp and then at the top of second and coming into third gear, start bringing in the boost to make the big power and the trans should hold for a while if you also follow what Jon from TRE stated on the gear oil.
I like boost by speed better as you can start to bring the boost in at the top of 2nd gear and a little through 3rd just before you pour full boost on in the middle of 3rd gear. This way, you dont have to wait for the next gear to get to the next boost level and you can smoothly bring the boost in. I'm not too sure, but maybe boost by gear can also do this, but I am limited to boost by speed with the AEM 1052.

Best advise for F/I crowd with oem tranny
