Sorry the car was a bit messy at that stage and the gearbox mount has been replaced with a proper one
The ballistic blanket also blocked the bellhouses joint but the pictures will give you some idea of the space under our s2k for a nissan box.

I am thinking of getting a sequential gearbox for the s2k so this setup might be for sale. However, my mate will get the first dip before it goes public. If there is enough demand he can get the bellhouse casted. I might be wrong but the bolt patterns between the z33 and r33gtst box & the bellhouse are similar (if not the same).

Thanks for posting some pics, I think I'll take my trans over to my friends house and see if he can knock out a flange for me that I can weld to. It is a better idea than welding 2 bellhousings. I can just cut the z33 one until it sits right and then I can sell my trans unmodified. I emailed mazworx again lets see if they actually respond this time. I really would put money down on a plate if I knew I could get it within a month, I dont wanna close up my trans tunnel knowing I may have to cut it out and do it over.

Ive had 2 350z's and just a word of advice, you need the updated cd009 transmission to make this worthwhile. The unrevised transmissions are terrible, they grind on stock 350z power/tq, lockout ect. the issue got so bad that nissan was replacing them for free

In my project we'll use all m3 parts. We changed transmission choice. 5 speed zf e36 mk1 mk2 m3 gear ratios are longer and more useful for drag racing and also strength is incredible. I'm also using e36 m3 3.23 differential, axles and driveshaft. I will post picture when we will finish the project.
