cant really put a gforce in a daily driver. more fabrication required including an adapter plate and aftermarket bellhousing. but no clutching necessary and indestructible for the most part.
s2king runs liberty.

PPG synchro set which is leaps and bounds better than a stock gear is only about 5k

Gforce trans can be clutch assisted and h pattern just depends on which ya get.

s2king did run a ppg gearset in a stock case.

i know the options with gforce, if a gated clutchless trans is an option (which it is) why would anyone get anything else unless you cant per the rules of some sanctioning body? i wouldnt trade my gforce for anything

Don't the clutchless transmissions require a ton more maintenance and upkeep?

No. Not at all. We have 4 seasons on ours. Never been opened. Just fluid changes. Pressure plate requires some adjustments every now and then.

There won't be one. The civic guys, most of which have been around for FAR longer really don't have anything "cheap" to date.

It's a no win situation.

Basically only thing to do is upgrade to a completely different platform.

How often do you have to change the fluid?

They make the gforce in a h patter to be more street friendly. Mine is gated. They are straight cut gears which are noisy. I drove my civic with a liberty trans on the street just fine.

The gforce is just a gear box. It requires some custom fab with an adapter plate and aftermarket bellhousing.

Whereas the ppg is a gear set that you slap in the stock case. In my opinion these gear sets that swap right into the stock case are just band aids. Just like the liberty I had on my fwd civic.
