I can agree with that, I don't think any factory transmission is going to shift well above 10k.

How about a sti 6 speed without the use of the front axles? Those have good shifter feel and good torque handling capabilities? Still somewhat pricey though

Joe, great to see you picking up the ppg! I'll be following your build closely as that is what I would do in my case as well. I rebuilt my stock transmission a couple years ago, and could throw in the PPG by myself. Good luck with the rebuild!

Yep is about 4700 I think and I just typed up a build tread and will be posting all on there it is up already called t56 swap
