Default Trueboost owners....

I am getting my car tuned next Sunday, but want to install my truboost beforehand. Is there anyway I can leave the boost controller part of it "off" and just let the boost run for whatever basemap I have? If so, how?

yes. just install everything. ..by default it will be on "off" to set it up you have to do something like hold both buttons..then tap both until you get to certain screen...then adjust...

when you turn your car on it will cycle through some stuff on the LEDs..then at the end it will read "OFF" this just means the boost controller is not engaged

fyi: mine is installed and not set up...i messed with the settings while on highway once and i decided ill leave it for my tuner haha

Will it still show boost/vacuum even though it's "off"?

yes it does. OFF just means that the controller isnt on. the gauge however still functions as a normal electric boost gauge which does show vacuum and boost.
