Thumbs down Tune & Changing Boost settings

I have a question for you guys, I was tuned at 10psi, what happens when I lower the Boost to 7PSI and go to redline, basically running 7psi for a month then switch the BOOST back up to 10psi, does the car now what to do, I mean does it know it needs to dump enough fuel for 10psi or did it get accustomed to the 7PSI and only dump 7PSI's worth of gas?

I hope I don't need to be tuned for two independant Boost settings, maybe that is where some of my problems came from?

Would resetting my ECU (disconnect the battery) and setting it back up to 10PSI initially "reset" back to my original tun?

If you were tuned for 10 psi, then your car would run best at 10 psi.

At 7psi max, the way it runs would depend on what kind of fuel management you have: FPR, EMS, piggyback, etc.

Its a piggyback, my fear is that it "learned" or adjusted the Fuel trims for 7PSI so now when I am above 7psi it is only using enough fuel for 7PSI, not the additional fuel that would be required at 10pSI

I don't think it's a big deal, I have three settings on my AEM tru boost, 8.5 and 9.5 and off. If you unhook your battery your car will run like poo poo for a while you will need to let it run for like 15 min. It is not uncommon to have a high and low setting.

It should run just fine. You were tuned for a max of 10psi however the fuel maps are interpolated all the way down to 0 psi so your safe to run in that entire range.
